1. Educational Purpose
ClevStudy is designed exclusively as an educational platform for KS3 and KS4 students in the United Kingdom. The platform, including its AI tutoring features, must be used solely for legitimate educational purposes.
All users — parents, guardians, and students — are expected to use the platform in a manner that supports learning, respects others, and complies with applicable laws.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use ClevStudy to:
- Submit, upload, or share any content that is offensive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data, or personal information without authorisation.
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose, including advertising, marketing, or reselling access.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform or its AI systems.
- Introduce malicious software, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with the platform's operation.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features or access controls.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or interact with the platform.
3. AI Tutor Usage
ClevStudy's AI tutoring system is designed to support and enhance learning. When interacting with the AI tutor, you must:
- Use the AI tutor for educational purposes only, relating to the subjects and curriculum available on the platform.
- Not attempt to manipulate, trick, or "jailbreak" the AI tutor into producing non-educational, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Not use the AI tutor to generate content for purposes unrelated to your own learning (such as producing essays for others).
- Understand that AI-generated content is for educational support and should not be considered a substitute for professional teaching, assessment, or advice.
We reserve the right to monitor AI interactions for safety and quality purposes, particularly to protect child users.
4. Homework Assistance
ClevStudy is designed to help students learn and understand concepts, not to complete homework or assessments on their behalf. Students should use the platform to:
- Build understanding of topics and concepts through guided tutoring.
- Practise skills and test knowledge through interactive exercises.
- Identify and address gaps in their understanding.
Students must not use ClevStudy to directly copy answers for school assignments, coursework, or examinations. Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss responsible use of learning tools with their children.
5. Uploads and Content
Where the platform allows you to upload content (such as homework images or profile avatars), you must ensure that:
- All uploaded content is appropriate and relates to educational use.
- You have the right to upload and share the content.
- The content does not contain personal information about other individuals without their consent.
- The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without prior notice.
6. Children's Safety
Protecting children is our highest priority. In addition to the prohibited conduct listed above, the following rules apply specifically to safeguard child users:
- Adults must not use the platform to contact or communicate with children who are not their own.
- Children's accounts are managed by their parent or guardian. Children should not share their PIN or login details with anyone other than their parent or guardian.
- Any content or behaviour that could harm, exploit, or endanger a child will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- A warning notification to the account holder.
- Temporary suspension of account access.
- Permanent termination of the account without refund.
- Reporting to law enforcement or relevant authorities where we believe illegal activity has occurred or a child is at risk.
We will endeavour to contact the account holder before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the safety of users or the integrity of the platform.
8. Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of any misuse of the platform, inappropriate content, or behaviour that concerns you, please report it immediately:
ClevStudy Limited

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports can be made anonymously where appropriate. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact the police (999) or the NSPCC helpline (0808 800 5000).
