Your parent or guardian has already agreed to our full Privacy Policy on your behalf. This notice gives you a simpler version so you know what's happening with your information.

1. Who Are We?

ClevStudy is an online learning platform made for secondary school students in the UK. We help you learn your school subjects with the help of an AI tutor that adapts to how you learn. ClevStudy Limited is the company that runs the platform, and we're based in England.

2. What We Collect

When you use ClevStudy, we collect some information about you. Here is what we collect and why:

• Your first name and username — so we know who you are and can personalise your experience. Your parent chose these for you.
• Your key stage and subjects — so we can show you the right lessons and content for what you're studying.
• Your learning progress — like quiz scores, how long you study, which topics you've completed, your streaks, XP, and badges. This helps us (and your parent) see how you're doing.
• What device you use — so we can make sure the app works properly on your phone or tablet.

We do not collect your email address, phone number, exact location, or any other personal contact details from you directly.

3. Why We Collect It

We use your information to:

• Give you personalised lessons that match your level.
• Track your streaks, badges, and XP so you can see your progress.
• Help the AI tutor understand what you know well and what you need more help with.
• Show your parent or guardian how you're getting on with your studies.
• Send you helpful reminders (like streak notifications).

We never use your information for advertising or to try to sell you things.

4. AI Tutor Usage

ClevStudy uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help teach you. When you do a lesson, the AI tutor:

• Reads your answers to understand what you know and where you might need extra help.
• Adjusts the difficulty of questions based on how you're doing.
• Creates teaching content, explanations, and practice questions just for you.
• Spots common mistakes so it can help you understand things better.

The AI is there to help you learn — it's like having a patient tutor who adapts to your pace. Your answers and learning data are only used to make your learning experience better. We don't use your data to train other AI systems.

5. Who Can See Your Info

Only a few people and systems can see your information:

• Your parent or guardian — they can see your progress, subjects, and learning activity through their dashboard.
• The ClevStudy team — a small number of people who work on keeping the platform running safely.
• Our technology partners — companies that help us run the platform (like our cloud hosting provider). They can only see what they need to do their job and are not allowed to use your information for anything else.

We never share your information with advertisers or social media companies.

6. We Don't Sell Your Data

This is really important: we never sell your information to anyone. Not to advertisers, not to other companies, not to anyone. Your learning data belongs to you and your family.

7. How We Keep It Safe

We work hard to keep your information safe and secure:

• Your data is encrypted, which means it's scrambled so that only authorised systems can read it.
• You sign in with a PIN that only you and your parent know.
• We regularly check our systems to make sure they're secure.
• Only people who need to see your data to keep the platform running can access it.

8. Your Rights

Even though your parent manages your account, you have rights over your own data. Under UK law, you (or your parent on your behalf) can:

• See your data — ask to see what information we hold about you.
• Fix mistakes — ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data — ask us to remove your information (see below).
• Get a copy — ask for a copy of your data in a format you can take elsewhere.

9. Deleting Your Data

If your parent decides to delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our systems. This includes your name, username, learning progress, and any other data linked to your account.

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered, so make sure your parent is certain before requesting deletion.

10. Safety Tips

Here are some tips to help you stay safe while using ClevStudy:

• Keep your PIN private — don't share it with friends or anyone other than your parent or guardian.
• Tell your parent if you see anything on the platform that makes you feel uncomfortable or confused.
• Use ClevStudy for learning — the AI tutor is there to help you understand your subjects, not to do your homework for you.
• Be honest in your answers — the AI tutor works best when it knows what you really understand and where you need help.
